Here in Australia, Easter comes around as summer is slowly fading into the cooler days of autumn. For many of us, it signifies the luxury of an extra-long weekend with friends and family catching up over some good food. Whether you’re enjoying a hot cross bun (or ten), eating way too many Easter eggs or planning a big, long lunch, we have some home decoration ideas to make your celebrations egg-stra special.

Colour Me Happy

Choosing an Easter-inspired colour palette is a great place to start as it gives you creative license and freedom. You’ll find it easier to decorate your home if you’re focusing on a particular colour scheme rather than a specific ‘Easter’ theme. Flower Power

There’s nothing quite like having fresh flowers in your home and Easter daisies are a lovely, seasonal choice. If you can’t get your hands on any at your local florist, paper daisies or sunflowers are also a great choice.
